Now the process, sit in a peaceful room, in solitude, spread a red asan or seating mat, wear loose clothes preferably red in color, and offer red flowers, hibiscus, roses, etc, light a lamp (prefereably made of ghee), light a few incense sticks, and keep a nice picture of Ganesha in front of you. You could just chant the beeja mantra, either Gan or Gloum. Om Vakratundaya Hum, Om Gan Hasti Pisachi Likhe swaha. His Gayathri Mantra is Om Ekadantaya Vidmahe, Vakratundaya Dhimahi, Tanno Dantih Prachodayat, Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Gloum Gan Ganapataye Vara varada sarvajanam me vasham anaya swaha. "Om Gan Ganapataye Namaha", this is Ganesha’s beeja mantra.
